How the Food Monad came about
At the same time, on a personal level, I had put on a few kilos myself. That slight excess weight prompted me to look for a way back to my former weight.
And so I came up with a small formula that struck me as rather original — and which, on top of being original, proved effective, since it allowed me to lose in just a few weeks the 7 to 8 kg I reckoned I was carrying in excess. But it remained an entirely personal experiment.
This is where the story of the Food Monad really begins, and where it becomes interesting. In December 2016 I visited one of my patients at home, Mrs F, who had had type 2 diabetes for about ten years, 98 kg for 1.70 m. She was worried to see her diabetes completely unstable despite the three medicines she was taking at maximum doses. Her haemoglobin was between 10 and 11 %. And what she dreaded above all was finding herself on insulin in the near future (which the hospital consultant she had just seen for her annual review had in fact announced to her).
Sensing her distress, I spent some twenty minutes explaining how to reduce her excess weight, based on the formula I had just used on myself. At the same time I told her that if that weight loss reached 10 kg and she held it, she would stabilise her diabetes for several years.
When I saw her again a few months later, for a repeat prescription, I had completely forgotten the advice I had given her. And just as I was about to ask her about the weight loss I had noticed, I saw her face light up with a smile and she said: “Doctor, you see, it worked; I did as you told me.”
I then remembered my explanations. A few days later I checked her glycated haemoglobin; it had fallen to 7.8 %, a drop of around 3 %.
I sensed that what I had until then called « my formula » might be useful to other people. I should add that this patient, who had just lost 13 kg in three months, went on to lose 28 kg in all in a little under a year. I should also add that she achieved this on my spoken explanations alone, with no further help and no follow-up whatsoever! Which to my mind seemed quite remarkable.
It is from that moment that my process really began to exist. A few weeks later, having put together a short video presentation, I gathered about ten overweight patients in my waiting room one evening. I had promised them that by following my instructions, every one of them could shed several of their surplus kilos.
The results were immediately encouraging. Other groups followed. Every participant without exception lost weight, and most of them managed without difficulty, according to the goal they had set, to shed 10, 15, 20 or 25 kg. I then wrote a book of some fifty pages explaining the process and how to use it. The Food Monad was born.

Our number one challenge is a medical one : we want to push back type 2 diabetes.
We start from a simple premise: treating early type 2 diabetes with medication first is illogical, when losing the surplus kilos would often be enough to make it disappear.
Pushing back type 2 diabetes
In France, in 2024, there were 3.9 million patients with type 2 diabetes, 85 % of them overweight or obese.
Our number one challenge is therefore to push back type 2 diabetes by this drug-free route. Our aim is simple: if you have type 2 diabetes together with excess weight, we want to bring you to a weight matching your height above one metre.

Our ambition : to spread the Food Monad as widely as possible through our site
The Food Monad is the simplest method in the world, but also the most effective and the most economical for losing between 5 and 30 kilos — without a single medicine, without any food supplement, and in surprisingly comfortable conditions. We are delighted and enthusiastic to be able to offer it to you.
Our ambition
To the essential question anyone is entitled to ask — will everyone succeed with the Food Monad?
Here is the answer we can give:
- Depending on how much they have to lose, those who use the Food Monad with a minimum of seriousness are certain to lose at least 10 kg.
- Those who show a little more care and consistency will lose 10 to 20 kg without difficulty, matching patients treated with the new type 2 diabetes molecules.
- Finally, those who apply the principle to the letter can lose, if that is their goal, up to 25 or 30 kg, and sometimes more. In doing so they approach the results obtained with bariatric surgery.

Our philosophy: « never imposing, never stigmatising »
Human bodies have differed since the dawn of time.
That has to be accepted…
But over the past several decades, new eating habits have sent the curves of overweight and obesity soaring the world over.
And that exponential growth ends up affecting the health of those concerned, to the point of becoming a public health issue.
Here lies the justification for what we do.
Our philosophy
- first, to everyone who has a medical reason to lose weight as a treatment, to improve an existing illness, and to all those doing the same to protect themselves from one.
- then, to everyone who lives badly with their excess weight and wishes, for reasons of comfort, mobility or appearance, to return to the weight range of their choosing.
